Right to be wrong

I know you're out there waiting
waiting, for me
leaving yourself wide open
so connected we can be

together at last
bucking the system
together at last
we don't want to listen

everyone telling us it's wrong
it's not meant to be
they say 'nothing in common'
you're not right for me

together at last
we don't care what they say
together at last
it was meant to be this way

'She's trouble, don't stay with her
open your eyes, can't you see'
but you weren't to be deterred
her love is at what I need

together at last
knowing that we're right
together at last
prepared to stand and fight

don't you understand our feelings
how could you ever fall this deep
to our lives there now is meaning
we no longer sit and weep
you think together we're just not right
and it shouldn't have come to be
you want to go and correct our plight
but together as two, we're finally free

and it's not to mushy :)
nothing like abit of defiance against the mass opion.

Enjoyed that.

Now, hurry up and break up with him so you can get back to the depressing ones....

Actually it was song lyrics really, well in my head anyways! and this is exactly what I mean about people projecting what they think is going on because my poetry seems to be so direct.

I can happily confirm that I am still single, yes that's right still single but have an uncanny knack of projecting myself into situations (either regarding myself or others). :)

Yes...it's great when you can project yourself like that. I can totally relate to that. I love the way you put that. We often read things that aren't there...but sometimes we have an uncanny knack of hitting the nail right on the head. I wonder how many times we really do see the truth in other people's words?
