Strangers

You send a message to me
waiting so long to hear
to the unknown stranger
to draw me near

I stand to leave
my mind a haze of dreams
walk towards the open door
hoping all is what it seems

the message reads
meet me here
2 strangers to meet at last
and I'm gripped by a sudden fear

what will we talk about
this strange connection remains
leaves us no space to move
what can we hope to gain?

I move soundlessly towards you
your hand outstretched to mine
take a seat you say
and I lose track of time

the discomfort is vanished
as we talk through the night
and we delve and twist
reassured that we were right

Oooh, I thought you had stopped posting here. I have just read everything to catch up. I'm glad that you seem to be meeting up with the person. That is really great. There are so many questions I'd like to ask about these poemsxx

this one is really 'nice'
that's not a bad thing btw,
it's sort of fuzzy head heart warming type nice...the sort you don't find too often :)

Ooh Molls and there's me thinking you had deserted me!
Its always interesting to see what people think about poems and how personal they think they are or relate to me but as I've said to Min before, 'not all is as it seems' ;) Oh and feel free to ask the questions, I'll answer - if I can.
Min/In - I know not my normal type of thing at all but thought it made a nice change, the next one will probably be even worse/soppy/nice - well you know what I mean :)
